Rs15.264 trillion tax collection target set for FY2026
The federal government has set a tax collection target of Rs15.264 trillion for the fiscal year 2026-27, according to the budget documents.
The FBR’s tax collection target for the last fiscal year was FY2025-26 was Rs14.131 trillion. The new target for FY2026-27 has been raised to Rs15.264 trillion, an increase of about Rs1.13 trillion, or roughly 8%
The target represents a significant increase over the current fiscal year’s revenue goal and reflects the government’s efforts to strengthen tax collection and improve fiscal stability.
